Technical Support Services Education of IBM - Switzerland
BESPOKE SERVER-BASED APP PRESENTED VIA VIDEO CONFERENCING WITH EDUCATION TEAMS.
The server-based browser application is used by the TSS Education team to teach business partners the value of IBM technical support services and datacenter incident protection and resolution.
In-person education approaches had to change to virtual sessions once travel restrictions put a halt to business travel around the globe. To continue educating their business partners during the crises, the IBM TSS education team approach us to design a suite of gamified applications they could share online and present via ZOOM sessions. The TSS Value Simulation became quickly one of the most popular apps in the suite, as it was engaging and fun for teams to participate in the simulation.
With the idea, the team at IBM created an Excel sheet outlining the steps of the simulation using a series of events that demonstrated the impact of incidents on a data center. We then created a step-by-step flow of how the simulation would unfold using dice, a gamified leaderboard, and animated videos to bring community and fun to the idea.
Our project wireframes were created in the collaborative visualization freehand sketch tool from InVision.
The developer-ready assets were created in Figma using IBM Design Language matched with Material Design icons and forms to allow for rapid development
Rapid development allowed for ample testing. This allowed us to rapidly create refinements to the design, responding to customer wishes and comments.
